Absolutely loved this Hostel (& I’ve visited over 100) It’s got to be one of my favourites, very cosy & extremely well equipped. Just for a couple of days walking on the Long Mynd. Will be back with our walking group. Nigel Vile & Jacky Turpin, Yatton, North Somerset 14/1/19

“Very clean and warm bunkhouse. Free tea and coffee! I had the place to myself for two nights. Good, clear directions (daytime) .. bring a flashlight at night! I climbed the Long Mynd to Pole Bank – 817m elevation. Climb from Cardingmill Café . Wide paths and plenty of walkers so you won’t get lost” – Michael Bell, Liverpool – November 2018

“Useful to have maps. Perfect for exploring the hills (on a mountain bike). Everything you need. Shower is bit erratic – hot, cold, hot, cold etc Kent (Sorry about that Izaak – think we were watering the garden, which caused the pressure to drop. We’ll make sure we don’t do that again when bunkers are in. Mike and Frankie” Izaak – August 2018

“What a blessing to have this bunkhouse all to ourselves – PERFECT! It might have been a little more difficult having the family here if the bunkhouse was full but it is certainly well equipped with everything you need. A beautiful little gem! Thank you” Alison and Malcolm Pane,  Reading Berkshire – May 2018

“A lovely bunkhouse. Excellent facilities. Fantastic setting. Very clean, well organised, comfy beds and pillows. Peaceful and wonderful views of the surrounding hills. I walked to here from Bridges YHA over the Long Mynd, so not using transport at all. Perhaps you could offer a discount to visitors who walk here and not just those who use buses, bikes or trains. We do Deena! £1 per person per night for those who get to us without a vehicle. Call at ‘Meadow Green’ to claim your discount or let us know beforehand how you will be arriving.” Deena Jefferys, Sheffield, UK – May 2016

“Excellent facilities. Clean, well organised – everything we needed. Great weekend for two families. Enjoyed the walk to the golf course and to Church Stretton” Wayne Wilcox, London, UK – May 2016
